Thank You.
We're really grateful to have a very supportive community of family and friends. Please consider contributing to one of these organizations in our name in lieu of any gifts.
Ali Forney Center
The Ali Forney Center's mission is to protect LGBTQ youths from the harms of homelessness and empower them with the tools needed to live independently.
In 2002 Carl Siciliano founded the organization in memory of Ali Forney, a gender nonconforming teen who fled his home at 13. Ali was dedicated to helping other young people and publicly advocated for the safety of homeless LGBT youth. Tragically, in December of 1997, Ali was murdered in Harlem -- shot in the head and left for dead.
Since AFC's launch with just 6 beds in a church basement, the organization has grown to become the largest agency dedicated to LGBTQ homeless youth in the country -- assisting nearly 1,400 youth per year through 10 housing sites and a multi-purpose Drop-In Center.
According to the Williams Institute at UCLA, 40% of the homeless youth served by agencies identify as LGBT. The Ali Forney Center provides critical support for an underserved and underrepresented community.
We're very lucky to have supportive families and friends who are able to celebrate our future with us. Please help us protect the future of LGBTQ youth.

Nina has been involved with Planned Parenthood since a young age and Kika has been a life long supporter of access to healthcare.
